Sh!tshow Wine Fall Recipe Pairings
September is here, and that means fall is right around the corner. Starbucks has already released its pumpkin spice latte, which as we all know, is the true indicator that fall is here. Due to this special occasion, we decided to pair all three of our shitshow wines with some fall ingredients as well as recipes we think you’ll enjoy.
As mentioned above, Starbucks has made pumpkin spice lattes synonymous with fall. Pumpkin everything is one of the things most people look forward to when fall comes around. There’s pumpkin pie, pumpkin rolls, and pumpkin cookies.
Luckily for you, our Sh!tshow White pairs perfectly with pumpkin. The strong aroma and tangy floral flavors pair great with your favorite pumpkin treats. However, not just desert can be pumpkin flavored. Try making something like pumpkin ravioli. They’re delicious and it’s something new for you to try out this fall. Boring old cheese ravioli? I don’t think so, we’re stuffing our ravioli with pumpkin this season.

However, if making pumpkin ravioli sounds like a nightmare to you, pick up some premade pumpkin ravioli up at Trader Joe's, they’ll suffice.
Your mind might not automatically go to mushrooms when you think of fall, but it is when most wild mushrooms can be harvested. Mushrooms are a super comforting meal and might not be something you think to cook with all the time.
Our Sh!tshow Red notoriously pairs well with mushrooms and cheese. This fall is a perfect opportunity to try it out with a mushroom and cheese dip. Going to a party and not sure what to make? Try this recipe and bring a bottle of Sh!tshow Red, you can’t go wrong with that.
Pears are in season from late summer well into early winter, making their peak season in the fall. Pears are one of the most forgotten fruits, but they add a lot of contrast and flavor to previously boring meals.
Our Sh!tshow Rosé would pair perfectly with a goat cheese and pear salad. Most people think of salads as a summer meal, but if you add the right ingredients, it could be a healthy fall comfort meal. If you’re not a big fan of salads, try adding less lettuce and more of a variety of ingredients like fruits, other vegetables, nuts, and cheese. Try out this recipe, it has pears, candied cherries, pecans, and goat cheese.
